To use my gifts, knowledge, experience and passion for health and wellness to help, teach and coach others how to revitalize and become healthy and whole body, spirit and soul.
I was born legally blind and was diagnosed with autism and a learning disability as a small child. Physically, I was healthy and the only thing my mother did not struggle with when raising me for the first several years of my childhood was eating well. I always had a hearty appetite and loved to eat. I was raised eating homemade meals and never had a preference for highly processed food. While other kids ate boxed cereals for breakfast, I ate eggs and bacon most days.
Through my mother’s faith, fervent prayers, persistence, God’s grace and divine intervention, I learned how to compensate well for my learning disability and slowly overcame my autistic tendencies. I was able to function well in school and was an honor roll student through middle school and high school.
As a teen, I developed a great deal of interest in health, nutrition and fitness. I also wanted to hep others with their problems, share God with people and counsel friends.
In my college years, I decided to pursue a degree in the field of nutrition. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dietetics from Madonna University and my Master’s of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Wayne State University.
For the past 15 years, I’ve researched, worked and learned in the areas of holistic health and nutrition, fitness and alternative medicine. I have a heart to help people walk in wholeness and freedom!
