What are you focusing on in life?
What is most important to you now? Most likely, whatever is most important to you is your main focus. The bible says to magnify the Lord and to exalt Him and He will lift us up!
Each one of us came into the world with a purpose and we all have God given gifts. If we chose to focus on using our gifts in the way God wants us to use them and use them for Him, we can be more fruitful and have more of a positive impact and influence on others in our lives then we could if we pursue our own desires in the absence of God’s direction and guidance.
Choose to exalt God in your life and find your purpose and pursue it and use your gifts, talents and what you have to bring to the table for God. I’m not suggesting that everyone is suppose to preach God’s word, teach God’s word or use their gifts in a spiritual way. I’m only suggesting that we seek God for the purposes and plans He has for us. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (NIV). If God is for us, who can be against us?
The key is to keep our eyes on God and focus on running the good race. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,”(NIV). Let your spirit soar. What did God create you to do? Pursue your purpose with joy and confidence. Seek God and find your calling and pursue it with all your heart. What are you good at? What moves you? Have good intentions, not just pursuit of your own personal gain! Discover what your greatness is and cease it and focus on it. Ask God to help you to be all He has created you to be and don’t waiver and allow others to deter you from it. Work hard at it. Run after it and persevere.
You can’t go wrong if you have God on your side! If you find your purpose, pursue it with all your heart, work hard and stay focused, then you will surely bear fruit! If God is for you, your efforts will prosper and prevail!

Sometimes it is so hard in a world full of distractions. This is exactly what I needed my eyes to see today and perfect timing! May God continue to bless you and all that you do to share your gifts with others 🙂 xoxo
